‘the Wanderer’ was created by allowing and recording the occurrence of chance, both in urban plant life and in the photographic process. Taking a starting point as the binary form of black and white; open and closed; on and off; and setting parameters such as the twelve locations across the city. I set about the process of making, where some of the outcome was beyond my control, a discovery.
